Subscription & Billing Terms

These Subscription & Billing Terms apply to paid subscription services provided by SustaPlates Ltd ("SustaPlates", "we", "us" or "our").
These Terms form part of the SustaPlates Terms & Conditions.
1. Subscription Plans
SustaPlates may offer different subscription plans, features and pricing.
The applicable plan, price, billing frequency and included features will be displayed before you complete your subscription.
SustaPlates may change its subscription plans or features from time to time. Where a change materially affects an existing paid subscription, we will provide appropriate notice where required by law.
2. Subscription Fees
Subscription fees are payable in accordance with the billing frequency selected at the time of subscription.
Prices will be displayed before payment and may be subject to applicable taxes where required by law.
SustaPlates may use third-party payment providers, including Stripe, to process subscription payments.
SustaPlates does not ordinarily store complete payment-card details when payment is processed through hosted Stripe Checkout.
3. Automatic Renewal
Where a subscription is set to renew automatically, the subscription will renew at the applicable renewal interval unless cancelled before the next renewal payment is due.
The applicable renewal price and billing frequency will be communicated to you before or when you subscribe, subject to applicable law.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription through the cancellation functionality made available by SustaPlates or by contacting SustaPlates at:

Cancellation will normally prevent future renewal payments.
Unless applicable law provides otherwise, cancelling a subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund for a billing period that has already started.
You will normally continue to have access to the paid features until the end of the period for which you have already paid, unless your account is suspended or terminated in accordance with the SustaPlates Terms & Conditions.
5. Refunds
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where:
- you are entitled to a refund under applicable law;
- SustaPlates has charged you incorrectly;
- SustaPlates agrees to provide a refund in exceptional circumstances; or
- a refund is required because SustaPlates has failed to provide the contracted subscription service as required by law.
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be returned using the original payment method.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Free Trials and Promotional Offers
Where SustaPlates offers a free trial, discounted period or other promotional subscription offer, the specific terms of that offer will be displayed before you subscribe.
Unless otherwise stated, a promotional offer may automatically convert to the applicable paid subscription when the promotional period ends.
Any cancellation or refund rights applicable to the promotional offer will be explained at the time of subscription and will be subject to applicable law.
7. Failed Payments
If a subscription payment fails, SustaPlates may notify you and may attempt to collect the outstanding payment through the applicable payment provider.
SustaPlates may restrict or suspend access to paid subscription features where payment remains outstanding.
Any suspension or termination will not affect rights or obligations that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Upgrades and Downgrades
Where SustaPlates provides upgrade or downgrade functionality, the applicable pricing and billing consequences will be displayed before the change is confirmed.
Any adjustment to the billing period or subscription fee will be handled in accordance with the information provided at the time of the change and applicable law.
9. Cancellation or Suspension by SustaPlates
SustaPlates may suspend or terminate a subscription where reasonably necessary, including where:
- payment remains outstanding;
- the user breaches the SustaPlates Terms & Conditions;
- the user breaches the Marketplace, Seller & Charity Rules;
- the account is involved in fraud, misuse or unlawful activity;
- suspension is necessary for security or user protection; or
- required by law.
Where SustaPlates terminates a paid subscription without user breach and applicable law requires a refund, the relevant refund will be provided.
10. Changes to Subscription Prices
SustaPlates may change subscription prices from time to time.
Where a price change affects an existing subscription, SustaPlates will provide appropriate notice before the new price applies where required by law.
If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the applicable renewal.
11. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Subscription & Billing Terms removes or limits any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
Where applicable, consumers may have cancellation, refund or other statutory rights relating to subscription services.
Subscription services may also be subject to additional legal requirements concerning renewal, cancellation, notices and cooling-off periods.
12. Relationship with Other SustaPlates Documents
These Subscription & Billing Terms should be read together with:
- SustaPlates Terms & Conditions;
- SustaPlates Marketplace, Seller & Charity Rules;
- SustaPlates Privacy Policy; and
- SustaPlates Cookie Policy & Consent.
If there is a conflict between these Subscription & Billing Terms and the SustaPlates Terms & Conditions, the provision that provides the greater protection required by applicable law will apply.

14. Governing Law
These Subscription & Billing Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Where you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence.
